No Soliciting!
Residents and families, please be aware:
door-to-door solicitation is not allowed in our building. All
presentations and events are scheduled through Social Services, listed on the
monthly calendar, and held in the community room.
If someone is knocking on your door offering
you a service or looking to have you sign up for something, please know that
this was not cleared with the office. If this happens, do not let them inside,
do not give them any information, and please notify the office or the police to
have them removed from the building. Many times these people are looking to scam
you: steal your information with promises of free or reduced prices on services.
If they were not scammers, but instead a legitimate company, they will have
scheduled a presentation in the community room with Social Services.

Husband and wife crowned Valentine King and Queen
Darlene and Donald Graver were married on Dec. 21, 1962. They met in high school and married while Donald was serving in the U.S. Navy.
"He pursued me," she said, although he joked that was wrong.
"She chased me," he said. The couple noted that is Donald's personality to joke around.
Darlene said Donald proposed by telephone while he was stationed in Puerto Rico.
"He hasn't lost his sense of humor, despite health issues," she said.
As to their recipe for a long marriage, "He was gone a lot in the Navy in the beginning," Darlene said.
Darlene was a sewing machine operator, and Donald was a welder.
They raised three children, Lori Greene, Donna Miller, and Donald Graver.
"We're in love," said Donald, as he held his wife's hand and kissed it again.
They were each given a heart-shaped box of candy; Darlene was given a chocolate rose, and Donald, a mug.
They were then serenaded by a barbershop quartet, which sang such favorites as "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and "Honey, that I Love."
